Your Bitcoin shouldn't
die with you.
Mezolock is a non-custodial dead-man's switch for your Bitcoin on Mezo. Name your heirs, set a timer, check in. If you don't, your Bitcoin moves on-chain to the people you chose.
How it works
Three steps. Then live forever.
Configure
Name your heirs and their shares. Pick an inactivity timer. Approve the tokens you want covered. Funds never leave your wallet.
Live & check in
One-click check-in resets the timer. Edit heirs, tokens, or timer anytime. Cancel anytime. You're in control.
Inheritance fires
If you ever go silent past the timer, an off-chain keeper triggers the on-chain distribution. Heirs receive their shares automatically.
Why Mezolock
The simplest possible primitive.
We don't custody your funds. We don't have an admin key. There's no upgrade path. Mezolock is a single contract, fully verified on Mezo, with one job: check whether you've gone silent, and if you have, move what you approved.
Non-custodial by design
Funds stay in your wallet until the exact moment a trigger fires. The contract uses ERC-20 approve / transferFrom — no vault, no escrow.
Native Bitcoin on Mezo
Mezo's BTC precompile makes the gas token also an ERC-20. You approve your real BTC, not a wrapped or bridged version.
On-chain everything
Heirs, percentages, timers, check-ins, triggers — all on-chain. Anyone can verify the rules of your will with a single getPlan call.
Self-executing
A keeper bot watches the chain and fires the inheritance the moment the timer expires. No one has to remember to do anything.
